Infant Program
 The
Infant programs is designed for our youngest age group to
interact, explore, discover their world in a safe, loving,
and nurturing environment that will assist them in achieving
their first milestones. The educators in the infant classroom
specialize in love, which means working closely with every
parent in order to know and understand the needs of each child.
Curriculum is supported by age appropriate sensory materials,
assisting and fostering motor development and gradual introduction
to the limitless world of capabilities. We call our infant
classroom the "Little Tykes" and support family interactions
in every way possible.
The Learning Center has an open door policy in all classrooms
and are encouraged to call at any time during the day to connect
directly with your classroom educators.

As a first time mom you
want to do everything right for your baby. This is especially
true when it comes to choosing the place and the people who
will care for your child day-to-day. My son had to start at
a daycare center just shy of turning 10 months old. I remember
crying after leaving the first daycare center I toured because
I just could not imagine leaving my son there. When I visited
TLC and it just felt right. The infant/toddler room felt comfortable
and homey and I could tell the staff truly cared about the kids.
My son flourished under the care of the TLC teachers and in
particular he had an amazing bond with one of the staff in his
room. I could see their love for one another and this made my
leaving him there easier to handle for me.
I cannot believe it, but my son is almost four now and is a
preschooler at TLC. He is navigating his away from toddler-hood
toward a path with more independence and self-help skills. This
is not always the easiest journey for him, but with the assistance
of his ever patient and caring TLC teachers he is embracing
his role as a ‘big boy’.
