February 2012
 January was quite an uneventful month in the weather department and TLC took advantage for sure. With unseasonably warm temperatures and lack of snow, TLC headed outside for outdoor play, group games, basketball, and scooters. We here at TLC make the BEST out of every situation for sure. The children were busy bee’s in their classrooms absorbing all kinds of information involving nursery rhymes, the wonderful invention of the wheel, and the season of winter. Morin’s studio came by to take individual and class pictures for our parents to treasure forever and boy did we look good!!
LOVE is in the air this month for TLC. The children are preparing their classrooms with hearts a plenty in anticipation for their Valentine’s Day swap and celebration. We are also studying the legend of Groundhog day and made our very own predictions. Discussing feelings and exploring the postal system are on our curriculum this month as well as studying some of our past and present presidents. During school vacation week, our school-age friends will be participating in YOGA class and a visit from Animal Adventures. Have a fantastic February!!!!!
