School Age Program
The Learning Center's Clubhouse is the place to be before and
after school. Each day, our planned curriculum offers the social
activities and daily challenges that interests school age children.
Their wants and needs arecared for in a safe and caring environment.
The children are encouraged to complete homework with assistance
from team teachers as needed. Homework contacts are read and
signed by child and parent to insure satisfactory completion
of the public school requirements. Early release and non-school
days provide us with time to explore the interests of the children
with hands on activities and culminating field trips for a well
rounded curriculum.

The staff at the The Learning
Center truly cares for each individual child as if he or she
were part of the family. Having my son spend his before and
after school time at TLC lets me know that he is getting the
attention, structure and love that he needs when he can't be
at home.
I honestly couldn't have navigated these past 8 years without
Trish and the great staff at TLC!
We love TLC! Our daughters have been coming to TLC for 4 years and we love the old-fashioned neighborhood atmosphere—with the blended ages, the ample backyard, the abundance of stimulating toys/activities, baking cookies, sledding, arts and crafts, all the animals and of course the TJ – the family dog! TLC gives love and support and services that I can’t find anywhere else, between the fun and creative planned field trips during the summer, and the spontaneous Trishie outings to the movies and Friendly’s that make a rainy day special. Trish and her teachers put a tremendous effort and thought into always considering the children first—the children’s needs, education, and most importantly love. They are there- when I can’t – and I put my utmost trust in them every day with my most prized loves. Then the added bonus is how my daughters feel, while they are there- and they said it best to me—“We feel like we belong. And we like going every day.” I think that says it all, because children know, when they are loved.
